Carol Jorgensen Scholarship for Environmental Stewardship
This scholarship provides funds to a full time student pursuing an undergraduate degree in an environmental stewardship discipline, including environmental studies, natural resource management, the natural sciences, public administration, public policy, and related disciplines. 2023 Jorgensen Scholarship Announcement
The purpose of these awards is to recognize agencies and individuals (civilian or military), who through their personal commitment and professional initiative have made demonstrable contributions in recruiting, retaining, and providing career advancement opportunities to American Indian and Alaska Native employees in the Federal workforce. Additionally they have assisted with the advancement of American Indian and Alaska Native professionals, role models and future leaders. SAIGE Annual Training Program Attendance Scholarship
Subject to the availability of funds, scholarships will be awarded for attendance to the SAIGE Annual National Training Program. Only current SAIGE Members may apply who have not received this scholarship previously. Deadline: April 5 for attendance in June. SAIGE Professional Development Scholarship
Subject to the availability of funds, one or more scholarships may be awarded for registration reimbursement for professional development courses/training per year to a current SAIGE member. Deadlines: June 1 and Nov. 1 of each year. – Not accepting applications at this time.
SAIGE Academic Scholarship
Subject to the availability of funds, one or more scholarships may be awarded to assist American Indian and Alaska Native federal employees who are currently members in good standing of SAIGE, to obtain college level course work to be applied toward receipt of a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree. Deadlines: June 1 and Nov. 1 of each year. Not accepting applications at this time.
