My name is Jinny Shulenberger, and I just retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salisbury, NC after a 33-year career there. I held many positions there with most of my career being in the Education Department.
I have been a SAIGE Member since 2005, and I’m also a Lifetime SAIGE Member. I previously served on the Board in many capacities, and there is no other organization out there like SAIGE. I was very honored to serve from 2006 thru 2013. Now that I am retired I can participate more fully.
I love SAIGE, and what it stands for. SAIGE involves Veterans in their training program, which is a plus, since I also served Veterans during my career. I made many new friends from all federal agencies, whom I worked with during my tenure with SAIGE.
I previously served as Treasurer, SAIGE Conference Co-Chair, Registration or in whatever capacity was needed to ensure that SAIGE succeeded as an organization. I always gave SAIGE 100% because of my belief in what they do.
